The stars are aligning for Tāmaki Makaurau post-punks Swallow the Rat in 2025. They have an monster-sized European tour locked in for the entirety of September, are launching their new Face Unpopular EP next month — including a remix by fellow noiseniks A Place to Bury Strangers — and this week revealed plans for a local launch tour, zooming all around Aotearoa during May and June with a brand new 7" available for preorder via Leather Jacket Records. Auckland post-punk outfit Swallow the Rat return with a new EP called Face Unpopular. Featuring 3 new songs including a title track which has been doing the rounds on student radio, and a blistering remix by A Place To Bury Strangers. Otautahi / Christchurch imprint Leather Jacket Records are releasing an accompanying 7 Inch on May 23.
