Voom Announce 'Something Good Is Happening' Album Release Tour
Aotearoa indie-rock heroes Voom's comet-like release trajectory will soon be rewarding patient fans with their first studio album in nineteen years, Something Good Is Happening, out in full on 16th May via Flying Nun Records. This once in a blue moon occasion (actually much rarer than that) deserves to be celebrated and Voom are doing exactly that, announcing today a release tour taking them to Auckland, Raglan, Lyttelton and Wellington during the second half of NZ Music Month / Te Marama Puoro o Aotearoa.
Crafted during the years since their 2006 previous album Hello, Are You There?, a period in which Voom's legendary status bloomed, we've already heard infectious lead singles from the new record 'Trouble', 'Everyone', We Don't Care', 'I Love You Girl' and 'Magic' featuring dream-pop star Fazerdaze. Learn all about Voom's musical journey dating back to 1982 in Gareth Shute's AudioCulture profile HERE, preorder the album HERE and go catch bandmates Buzz Moller, Murray Fisher (Goodshirt), Nick Buckton (sidekicknick) and drummer Josh Sorenson manifesting Something Good Is Happening nationwide — brought to you by Eccles Entertainment...
