The Bemsha Swing Unveil Single 'Destroyed Chords'

Tāmaki Makaurau's recently reactivated The Bemsha Swing are now the noise-punk 2.0 formation of Shane Warbrooke (A Crude Mechanical) and Brian Purington (Swallow The Rat), aided by the sampled rhythms of now-defunct drum machine buddies Artie and The Doctor. Dominating the upper echelons of the 95bFM top ten with their late '24 single 'Empty Leather', the pair wreck guitars on 'Destroyed Chords', the third release from their upcoming album The Expectation and Experience of Dissonance, which will be out in full on 2nd May. Flipping the bird to culture-flattening algorithms with their scrappy new anthem, head along to The Bemsha Swing's irl album release show on 2nd May at Cupid Bar, joined by Wrong Things, Moppy and DJ Coldbeers.
