Demons of Noon & Infinity Ritual Announce The Succession Tour
Two of Te Ika-a-Māui's ultra-heaviest doom collectives are synergising for a six date winter ceremony of bone-splintering riff worship, manifesting on stages across Aotearoa in August and September. Praised by Nathan 'Nato' Hickey of Beastwars as "my favourite new heavy band from New Zealand", Tāmaki Makaurau six-piece Demons of Noon unleashed their scorched occult metal debut album Death Machine last December. Hailing from Ngāmotu / New Plymouth, Infinity Ritual's gargantuan riff-powered EP II earned the trio a number two spot on the NZ Albums Chart and number 12 on the Top 40 Albums Chart when it dropped in November. United not only by staunch commitment to aural intensity, but also by the fact their latest releases both feature songs named 'Succession', do not miss Demons of Noon and Infinity Ritual throwing down with special guests at the following dates...
"In the proud tradition of double-header tours, headlining rights for each show will be decided on the day through coin tosses, tests of skill, feats of strength, pop quizzes or the opinions of random strangers".

Press release:
Winter is upon us, and two titans of Aotearoa doom have joined forces to light the darkness across the motu this August. Tāmaki Makaurau occult doom sextet Demons of Noon and Ngāmotu groove doom trio Infinity Ritual will be piling in the van to play Ōtautahi, Ōtepoti, Pōneke, Tāmaki Makaurau, Kirikiriroa and Ngāmotu.
Demons of Noon and Infinity Ritual both released albums that climbed the Doom Charts last year. The 13th Floor gave ‘Death Machine’ by Demons of Noon a five-star review and said they could take it proudly into Valhalla, and Wonderbox Metal said that ‘II’ by Infinity Ritual was “packed with riffs that make you want to move, and a charismatic presence that draws you in close”. Both albums feature a song called ‘Succession’. Who did it better? Show up to the Succession Tour to find out.
