Ignite x Big Fan Auckland Events Announced ft. Late To Chelsea, Blood Stained Eyes, Kliffs The Band + More

Based in Morningside just down the road from the train tracks, Tāmaki Makaurau's all-ages musical hub Big Fan are presenting four non-profit events this autumn especially organised by participants in Ignite 2023 — an eight week industry programme that "nurtures and empowers rangatahi with a passion for music and events".

Happening this coming Friday 21st April, the first event will be a high octane punk showcase starring Blood Stained Eyes, Stacked, Cootie Cuties and Slow Rage, with excess profits going to The Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand. Serving up a selection of rising local surf / indie acts on 5th May, the bill for Riffs N' Waves includes Kliffs The Band, Borderline and Albert Street, with proceeds going to the Movember initiative — a global community of people making a difference in Men’s mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Event number three will be NO CONFORMITY, featuring Late to Chelsea, BEACHWARE and Strategist Wang helping raise funds for Gumboot Friday, who help provide free and timely counselling for young people. With one more gig lineup still to be unleashed, be sure to head along to not only support our next generation of movers and shakers, but also support a range of crucial causes.
