Riffs N Waves is a surf/indie rock gig featuring local bands: Kliffs the Band, Borderline and Albert Street. The gig will be taking place in the new, not-for-profit, multi-purpose venue, BIG FAN, located 25 McDonald Street, Morningside, Auckland. BIG FAN is a cozy, state-of-the-art, all-ages and licensed venue and studio.
Tickets begin at $15 for the first 26 people to purchase! From the 14th of April or when our early bird tickets sell out, they will be $20. Door sales are no longer available, instead we have a last minute tier for $25, limited tickets only.
Doors open 7:30pm on the 5th of May 2023.
This event is supporting Movember, a global community of people making a difference in Men’s mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. All proceeds of this event will be going to Movember. BIGFAN has been generous enough to allow us use of their venue as we are apart of a program called Ignite, an eight-week music industry specific training program, covering three streams: Event Management (our stream!), Event Production and Music Production. The program’s aim is to inspire and teach rangatahi the necessary skills required to start their journeys into the music industry, while also exposing them to new and exciting career pathways, opportunities and connections in the industry.
