Benny Salvador Shares EP 'Nepolian Wrasse'
Te Whanganui-a-Tara multi-instrumentalist, DJ and Aunty Records head Benny Salvador has unveiled delicious new three-track EP Nepolian Wrasse. Filled to the brim with refreshing beats and sun-kissed synths, the mini drop is inspired by the "rhythms and natural beauty of Aitutaki, Rarotonga" and features electro-fied Pacific Island log drums and deep sea soundscapes. Benny Salvador wrote and produced the 20-minute collection, and for fine-tuning brought aboard Cory Champion, who was in the mastering hot seat for Salvador's debut album Family Fruit that hit the airwaves in March last year.
Once you've cruised through Nepolian Wrasse, treat yourself to an evening of boogieing and pop-up shopping at Hi-Fi Sci-Fi Pop Up And Rave, featuring sets from Benny Salvador himself, Current Bias, borrowed cs and more at the Pōneke leg of the two-stop rave train. Find out more below and enjoy the blissful rhythm of Pacific Island log drums...
