Listen To Lake South's New Album 'The Light You Throw'
Genre explorer and electronic pop producer Lake South reveals his third studio album The Light You Throw today, a collection of songs out on local label Home Alone Records and written to be experienced live and loud. Never one to take the beaten path, like the app-activated postcards of 2019 opus Wellington | Te Upoko O Te Ika, the album release arrives with a special Rebel Press produced lyric book and CD, and a slammin' new video for title single 'Hope And The Light You Throw'. The documentary style visuals feature the Capital Pro Wrestling crew doing sick stuff like practising choke holds and body slams, and doing their own make up before the big show down, proving to be some damn inspiring subjects to follow to the sound of Lake South's feel good alt-pop. The whole album is packed with joyful New Zealand twang and close-to-home lyrics, with Lake South once again delivering upbeat goodness and homegrown romanticism. Do not miss out on seeing these songs and more performed IRL this October / November on the twelve stop The Light You Throw album release tour...
