Bib Kids Unleash Debut Collection 'Gimp Software'
Auckland duo Bib Kids have dropped their pummelling first ever collection Gimp Software, a three track EP presenting their blood-boiling debut single '100 degrees' along with the title track and fresh cut 'Chummus'. It's a fact the hyper energised team of Tash van Schaardenburg and Michael Vincent Sperring's new project are one of most arresting emerging local acts you're likely to experience right now, with their distinctive hybridised take on industrial dance, experimental electronics, sample abuse and skull-crushing, gabber-informed rhythms opening new portals in sound for listeners to explore. You can score a limited cassette edition of the EP, featuring a pair of bonus live tracks, on Bib Kids' tour of Aotearoa in March and April, supported by buds including Ursula Le Sin, Strange Stains, Lucky Jim, Ex Partner, IRD, Fem Scream, Citacsy and the awesomely named Piss Goblins.
