Elroy Shares Angelic Tune 'The Highest Tree' + Announces Debut Show
Elroy (aka Elroy Finn) has shared his second single titled ‘The Highest Tree’, following on from the artist's popular slow-burning debut tune 'Worth The Wait'. The new song features complex guitar chords and cherubic vocals, which at times conjures images of a medieval bard’s lute-accompanied nocturne. An experienced live player, Elroy has shared the stage with family members Neil and Liam Finn, Wild Nothing, and Connan Mockasin.
The single's release coincides with the announcement of Elroy's debut performance with band at Auckland's Whammy Backroom this April. He's be playing material from his upcoming debut album (set for release this year) and is eager to get amongst it, saying "I'm really excited to finally play these songs with an extremely talented band of close friends in my hometown. I will relish the opportunity to bring these songs out of the closet, through the bedroom, and on to the big stage." Listen up to 'The Highest Tree' and check out the details below...
