Girlboss Unveil Introspective Single 'Body Con'
Wellington-based indie-pop quartet girlboss (the lower case 'g' is crucial!) have shared an ambling single called ‘Body Con’. The tune features airy vocals over light guitar and keyboard phrases, reminiscent of New Zealand groups Yumi Zouma and Wet Wings, which girlboss shares members with.
Guitarist Darian Woods gave some insight into the inspiration behind the song, saying “Body Con has two definitions: one is a style of skin-tight clothing, the other means body conscious.
