Gig Information

Your favourite Aotearoa pop girls are teaming up to play Wellington's Rogue and Vagabond this April! Come on down for a night of colour, glitter and dancing with Tia Ward and Danica Bryant, both celebrating their upcoming musical releases alongside their energetic live bands.

“Deliciously sweet yet shockingly bitter” (Under The Radar), pop-rock-folk star Danica Bryant boasts support slots for acts like Elton John and Foreigner, mentorship from Kiwi legend Bic Runga, and awards from New Zealand On Air, Smokefree Rockquest and Play It Strange. Alongside her powerful three-piece band, their performances are venomous yet “passionate” (Ambient Light), “cynical but emotional” (NZ Musician), and they're taking 2025 by storm with Bryant's debut album expected for release this winter.

Bursting into the New Zealand pop scene, Tia Ward shares her crazy life stories with a metaphorical spin. With influences such as Labrinth, Benee, Dua Lipa and Beyonce, Tia is determined to share her dance, synth pop fusion music with the world. In 2025, Tia is gearing up to reintroduce herself with a matured pop sound set to evoke feelings of defiance, desire and determination setting herself apart from other pop artists.

Tia works alongside up and coming producer and drummer of her band Simon Buxton. Similar to Billie Eilish and Finneas, the pair have performed to large audiences at San Fran, Meow and most notably CubaDupa 2023 and 2025. Her live sound consists of drummer Simon controlling the tracks and samples live via Ableton stems to further Tia's pop sound.
