Bri Louise, performed by a live band consisting of Bri Louise (vocal/keys), Molly Wyatt (flute/vocals), Becky Devine (bass), Theo Thompson (guitar), and Ateo Buhne (drums), features members who have performed in bands such Startime Ensemble, Girl Best Friend, Crumbly Jack, Sam Manzanza Afrobeat Band, Reid, First Reserve and some unforgettable high-school garage bands.
Bri Louise is a multi-instrumentalist based in Pōneke, blending sultry queer R&B with smooth jazz and undeniable groove. Bri’s sound has roots in Gospel and Neo-Soul, evolving into a rich fusion of Jazz, Hip-Hop, R&B, with tinges of Ambient and Lo-Fi bedroom pop. Live, their performances are a transfer of love— that leave audiences swooning, sweating, and seriously questioning their dance moves.
Tārin is a Moriori singer and songwriter from Te Whanganui- a - Tara, Aotearoa. Her sound is often described as dreamy soul R&B, with jazz influences from Amy Winehouse and Cleo Sol.
Mon-Day is a Pōneke based producer and DJ. With a vast love for a multitude of genres Mon-Days sets are a constantly evolving experience that provide a blend of breaks, percussive club and dub sounds to keep the d floor groovin’.
Hāmuera and Burnee are two DJs based in Te-Whanganui-a-Tara who focus on cultivating an inclusive and diverse dance floor. Junglists at heart, you can expect to hear some breaks, techno bass and dub influences.
