RACHEL ANDIE x MACHO MACHO
Rachel Andie is a Japanese American multi-instrumentalist from Philadelphia, US. She has been involved in the Aotearoa music scene for the past few years as a multi-instrumentalist, playing in bands such as The Soaked Oats, The Spectre Collective, Serebii, Wiri Donna, Michael Llewellyn, Tahini Bikini, and more. She now debuts her original music with a full band here in Poneke for the first time, consisting of Reuben Brady on Bass, Harper Wilson on Drums, Hector Mclachlan on Keys, and James Phizacklea on Guitar.
They will be kicking off their debut show at Meow on Thursday December 1st, joined by local legends, Macho Macho, along with DJ Home Job opening and closing out the evening.
Proudly belonging to Te Whanganui-A-Tara's music scene for nearly four years now, Macho Macho have become known primarily for their irregular, left-turning live shows. Consisting of Logan McAllister on Guitar/Vox, Lachlan Burne on Guitar/Vox, Connor Lyttle on Bass/Vox, and Dayne Robinson on Drums, the group will be returning to the stage for their first live show in over a year, and have exciting new tunes to share.
