ABOUT
Record Store Day is an annual international celebration of independent record stores. Real Groovy is the biggest, and one of the longest running, corporate-free record stores in New Zealand so we take great pride in showing that we are the real deal! RSD is going to be on Saturday the 13th of April, and we are beyond thrilled to be hosting it at our new digs at 520 Queen St!

DEALS & GIVEAWAYS
We have worked with a number of record labels to give our customers exclusive vinyl deals, and thanks to Pro-Ject turntables we’ll be giving away a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon RecordMasters with 2M red cartridge (worth $1,299)! As if everything wasn’t sounding amazing enough already, we’ve got some of our FAVOURITE companies helping us out on the day. Atomic Coffee are going to be keeping everyone caffeinated and charging through the day, Ch’i will be giving away their free hand-crafted herbal bevvies and Proper Crisps are bringing a ton of the best chips you’ll ever taste! Tu meke!

LIVE DJs
Some of Aotearoa's finest DJs are going to be gracing our stage:

9am - Murray Cammick (legendary NZ photographer)
11:30am - Tom Scott (Avantdale Bowling Club and Home Brew)
1pm - Sandy Mill (SJD and New Telepathics)
2:30pm - Callum Rooney & Tony Pike (Ounce and X-Ray Fiends)

Free admission all day, family and dog friendly!
