BEASTWARS ALBUM FUNDRAISER
SPOOK THE HORSES + ROBIN
Fri 23rd March San Francisco Bath House
$10 Presales from www.utr.co.nz or $15 Door
... You'd think after how massive 2011 was for Beastwars they'd be taking a break but they're not. Instead they're launching straight back into the studio to record their 2nd album.
Once again with Dale Cotton at the production helm Beastwars will travel to Dunedin on the 1st of April for a 10 day recording session to create the follow up to the critically acclaimed S/T album.
So this is where you come in. With no NZ on Air grant currently attached to the project (the band are hoping this will change) Beastwars are following the same path they took with their self-funded debut recording - by playing shows and putting the money straight back into the album fund.
The band have offered a taste of the new album at shows over their last 3 tours playing the songs "Dune", "Blood becomes Fire" and "Imperium" but if you're in the crowd at San Francisco Bath House on Friday March 23rd you will hear for the first time ever all the new material for the album played in its entirety.
Beastwars will be joined on the night by two of their favourite local groups. Spook the Horses who have received nothing but good press since the release of their debut album Brighter back in December and Robin - 2 sisters from Palmerston North playing instrumental shoegaze metal.
Tell your friends. Beastwars need your help. So let's party.
$10 Presales available from http://www.undertheradar.co.nz/utr/show/SID/25962/N/Beastwars-2nd-Album-Fundraiser.utr or $15 on the door.
