The Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra is heading to South Taranaki! The capital city strummers will be the highlight of this year’s Eltham Town Hall centennial celebrations. The hall is known for its acoustic magic, and the cult music-comedy act is looking forward to bringing its heavenly harmonies, stunning solos, madcap antics and questionable banter to the ‘naki.
Two shows have been scheduled in September to accommodate the huge fan base expected for the Eltham shows. On top of this, the concerts have been planned around the Rugby World Cup games adding to the entertainment available to visitors to the region who have down time between matches.
These shows will sell out, so don’t put off booking your tickets!
Performance details:
Friday 23 September - 7.30pm show
Saturday 24 September – 6.00pm show (there’s an All Blacks match straight after).
Tickets are $35 (plus applicable booking fees).
