The Waiheke International Soul Orchestra and New Telepathics

8 Piece live band & Electro-Soul-Percussion collective W.I.S.O. head out on the road for a series of dates in support of their E.P. 'Round One due late Oct with dates on Waiheke Island, Rotorua, Raglan, Leigh and Tauranga.

In support/co-headline swap arrangement they are bringing the worldwide underground legends NEW TELEPATHICS to three of the shows, a powerhouse of intense groove, New Telepathics' 12 piece line up is fronted by Darryn Harkness (Aotearoa), Nuel Nonsu (Nigeria), Phodiso (Botswana) and Sandy Mill (Aotearoa). With the rhythm and horn section's featuring some of New Zealand’s finest musicians. They performed recently at SPLORE 2018.

W.I.S.O. have shared the stage with NZ acts such as Yoko Zuna, Sorceress, Latin Aotearoa, P-Diggsand Sunshine Sound System, headlined nights at The Christchurch Jazz & Blues Festival for The Blue Note Series, Okere Falls Strong Beer Fest and Sun Sets Festivals and return this year to headline Okere Falls Bierfest with the Miltones.
