Keira Batten Coogan writes raw and messy music for alien listeners. Joined onstage by some familiar Pōneke talent, their earnest earworms pack more punch than ever. Themes of queerness, growing pains, love, and nostalgia shine through their lyricism and captivate their audience. Bringing louder life to Keira’s well-known works and unheard favourites are stellar band members Ryan Connaghan, Kindekel Banda and Isla Batten Coogan. This 4-piece is an absolute must-hear for seekers of a queer, candid, indie sound.

Elly Mae Lawson’s music encapsulates the bittersweet complexities of growth, relationships, time escaping, and the nostalgia embedded within. Her music is an amalgamation of folk, dreampop, shoegaze and whatnot.

Dillon Jo is an emerging indie two-piece from central Wellington. Known for their stripped back acoustic feel, strong harmonies, and vulnerable honest lyrics, Dillon Jo is already adding a fresh voice to the Wellington music scene with their distinct and unique sound.
