Coming from Hamilton, Raglan and Cambridge, Rèver is an indie reggae band dedicated to spreading good vibes and positive energy through their music. Comprised of four members - Rico, Gwyn, Joel, and Connor - Rèver blends infectious rhythms, creating a sound that resonates with their audience. With a commitment to community and connection, Rèver has quickly made a name for themselves in the local music scene. Their performance at Sounsplash marked a significant milestone, showcasing their unique style and solidifying their presence in the indie reggae genre. Whether they’re playing intimate gigs or larger festivals, Rèver brings an uplifting spirit that invites everyone to dance, celebrate, and feel the music. Joone are a 3 piece outfit split between Kirikiriroa and Tamaki Makaurau, formed in 2024. Bringing you their own spin on a midwest emo sound.

The Rues are a four-piece teenage band from the North Shore. They describe their music as “indie music but 4 different people are in separate rooms with their own interpretations of what that means.” They will be playing original songs that focus on portraying music through a queer lense.
Tāmaki Makaurau based artist Katie-Lee, creates indie-pop music with lyrics drawing on vulnerable experiences others can relate to. Since releasing their first single in 2021, they have been spending time truly honing in on their craft and finding an authentic way to express themselves through their music. Katie-Lee is currently working on their next project which is full of raw emotion and honesty, which they hope people will be able to feel comfort in relating to.
The Usuals are a five piece rock band consisting of Seamus Leathley, James Cassidy, Daniel Twine, Tom Talbot and Finn Hoskin. Over their 3 and half years together they have achieved success in playing locally around the north shore. This has included the Smoke Free RockQuest, Devonport’s Friday after five, and most recently Shore Junctions’ Stage Two concert. The band performs a combination of classic rock covers and some of their own original songs as well! Over their time together the band has grown close, working off one another to make the best music they can.
