Halloween Spooktacular

It's the spookiest time of the year, and that means it's time to come have a boogie at The Space Academy with your favourite bands! Be prepared to dance and sing along to fantastic originals and classic creepy covers as Alice Tozer and Pixie Platoon give you a late halloween to remember. Stay to the end for a special supergroup session.

Dressing up is heavily encouraged but not mandatory, there will be a prize for best dressed so dust off your grooviest costume and make yourself seen!

THE LINEUP

Pixie Platoon:
Hot, new, pop, Indie band of your dreams - Pixie Platoon. Four Ōtauathi regulars used to gracing the stage in their own original projects, band together to write, discover, and jam out together.
Fronted by Leah Kelsey and Josette, with the incredible Amber Carly Williams on angelic vocals and groovy bass line, and the ever perfect Amy Claire, hitting the skins with true passion and ethereal class. You'll hear about love, hate, real life, emotions, potentially some thoughts also, love again probably, along with vibes straight out of your favourite roman-tasy book.

Alice Tozer:
Local legend Alice Tozer graces the stage with her energetic pop-rock jams about love, loss and being stressed. Plenty of familiar faces make up her talented band from the Mosgiel Menace Alex Glennie, to the moustached bass monster Callum McInnes, and the familiar pixie faces of Leah and Amy. Alice always brings the energy and perhaps too much stage banter that will either leave you laughing or running for another Double Brown.
