———————

The Temple is a Pōneke alternative / ambient band featuring saxophonist Peter Liley, drummer Nathan Carter and producer Jack Woodbury. Their music melds expressive ambient loops with propulsive saxophone and drums to create genre-bending long form musical tapestries.

Ruby Solly is a Kai Tahu musician, taonga pūoro practitioner, music therapist and writer living in Wellington. She has played with artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Whirimako Black, Trinity Roots, and The New Zealand String Quartet as both a cellist, and a player of traditional Māori instruments (ngā taonga pūoro).

Hikurangi Schaverien-Kaa is a drummer mostly based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, who has played with the likes of French For Rabbits, Glass Vaults, Ebony Lamb and Dateline.

Venue Information:
Vogelmorn Upstairs is not a wheelchair accessible building. There is an accessible bathroom in the space. This is an all ages venue but those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a designated adult after 8pm. The Vogelmorn Precinct is a community space located in a residential area. With that in mind, the team ask that you be kind to others' and that when you leave the gig, you do so quietly to avoid disturbing our neighbours.
