Adoneye:
Reassuringly homely and familiar, with enough off-kilter accents to keep you on your toes, these aural alchemists will reel you in with their poetically introspective lyrics, and help you ascend with their astounding musicianship. Battle of the Bands 2024 winners Adoneye draw from influences including Nirvana, Incubus, A Perfect Circle and Elliot Smith, while maintaining a compellingly unique sound.

Donal ft. The Bucks:
Dónal Gunning is a singer songwriter from Ireland. He draws on rock, folk, indie and punk influences. Now based in Wellington, New Zealand his EP ' Born to Perform' released in May 2024.
He knows how to work the crowd and always brings fun, energy and Irish charm through his thought-provoking lyrics and formative, powerful sound. He’ll bring a driving beat that’ll make want to you shake your hips and rock on all night long. Dónal is accompanied by his back-line 'The Bucks', a collection of upcoming Wellington based musicians. Hold your hats folks, prepare to head-bang, enjoy.

Stretch to Mould:
Stretch to Mould is a rock band from Wellington New Zealand who formed in 2012. The band was founded by vocalist and guitarist Darrell Vickers, who has been the only constant member throughout multiple line up changes. Since 2023 the line up has consisted of Vickers alongside Chris Fursdon (bass guitar) and Nik Rooney (Drums). Stretch to Mould are known for their high energy, hard hitting riffs, powerful vocals and all-round solid musicianship. The band released their debut album Shadows in 2012, EP Painting Faces in 2014 and are currently working on their next release.

Obsidian Sun:
Obsidian Sun is a four-piece rock band formed in Wellington that pulls heavily from 70s classic rock, yet displays a vast array of influences from goth to indie to punk laced throughout their songs. The band provides a unique take on a classic sound, and thoroughly understands the art of groove and getting a crowd moving. Obsidian Sun is everything from contemplative and subdued to heavy and aggressive, working a spectrum of moods into their songs with seamless musicality. Rocking guitar, driving drums, feel-heavy basslines, and and a skilled vocalist frontwoman come together to make a sound that the Wellington scene didn't know it always needed.
