Both calling Ōtepoti Dunedin home, Olive Butler and Nick Tipa have been collaborating in various forms since their teenage years, starting out in high school orchestras and musicals, before forming various bands during their time at university. Sharing a love of folk, pop, alternative rock and classical music, Olive and Nick pull their storytelling into focus with oftentimes dark lyrical content juxtaposed against bright melodic musical settings.
