Ekho Laliah - Runes EP Release Show

One year after releasing her debut album 'Compendium of Colours', Ekho Laliah (FKA Silva Spiral) is releasing her next project 'Runes' - an EP of 5 selected experimental dance pop tracks that she has been crafting over the last 6 months. Join her and 2 other Pōneke based electronic artists (crossingwater, Hazel Elder) for a night of soul tingling sounds.

Music for dreamers, crossingwater is an exercise in the unravelling. Shimmers of glistening voices dance around spiralling rhythms, mutating itself through soundscapes of our cold inner worlds.

Hazel Elder is a songwriter and producer who blends moody, ethereal electronics with a hard edge of raw, uncompromising noise pop. Her live show is an immersive dark fantasy, weaving sincere lyrics through a dreamscape of hypnotic beats and distortion.

Ekho Laliah is the project of Pōneke based producer Shohana Saeed Swortzel. She records and produces experimental electronica and art pop from her bedroom in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Formerly known as Silva Spiral, she creates sounds that play with the notion of dichotomy; oscillating between worlds in hopes to strike a sonic balance between shimmering nostalgia and the unknown.
