Polar Extremes + Vorn + Class War On The Dancefloor

Tour Information
Presenting a unique Wellington opportunity to catch two songwriters who are so far underground they could be a public transport system in London.

Quaint (Polar Extremes) and Vorn Colgan (Vorn) have collaborated extensively over the last two decades, playing in each other's bands, busking, doing the odd civil union on Somes Island... you know, the usual.  This latest joint endeavour offers a rare opportunity to catch both artists presenting new original material for the first time in, like, ages!

When Vorn was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2019 it looked like his career as New Zealand's Greatest Underground Songwriter was going to be cut short after a mere 20 years and 8 albums.
Undeterred, and aided by medical science, Vorn and his gifted collaborators Nick Brown (Drums) and Thomas Ligget (Violin) set about recording The Late Album - the first indie album ever to beat cancer.
On the 27th at Moon they'll be sharing the death defying tunes in only their second public outing since the album's release.

Under the Polar Extremes moniker, Quaint has been steadily accumulating a catalogue of mercurial, electro-infused pop symphonies the likes of which one does not normally encounter on a Saturday in Newtown.  Polar Extremes's forthcoming album, Jilted Infinities, is slated for release quite soon, or at the crack of doom, whichever comes first.

Rounding out the bill for the gig of the year is local legend Class War On The Dance Floor.  When not DJing for audiences of infants under the Bangers for Bubz banner, area music genius Marika Pratley likes to break out a first-gen Deluge and restore the means of boogie production to the asses of the masses.

Come down! Shake a tail feather! Reflect on the fragility of existence! Buy a craft beer!
