Day Moon And Cordelia's Play On The Moon!

Extending our feelers to the farthest reaches of the exosphere and beyond: Day Moon is once again playing on the Moon! But this time, we’re headlining! The last time someone did that was 1969. Look it up, it was all over the news – just like this one will be! Joining us are acoustic newcomers Cordelia’s, whose gentle sonic explorations will ease you nicely into our dancy shenanigans. Try not to jump too high, you might just float away!

Known for their catchy tunes, scooby-do-esque cast and eclectic instrumentation, Day Moon’s spectacle of sound have been putting smiles on dials since 2023. Together, the 7-piece troupe of musicians create a diverse set of sounds, featuring lush harmonies, percussive layering, and melodic hooks. Some choose to dub it “Garden Rock” - it’s wholesome, it’s confident, it’s angsty, it’s sentimental. How would you describe it? No way of knowing till the music reaches your ears – So hop upon the travelling caravan and away we go!

Cordelia's,” comprised of long-time friends Tia, Lauren, and Brianna, is a fresh Pōneke based band self-proclaimed to emulate 'indie-folk feminine rage'. Thematically, they explore the feminine gaze, queerness in light of societal norms, and navigate heartache, wellbeing, and identity. As versatile musicians, the members each play a variety of instruments, including guitar, piano, and percussion, with vocal harmonies to form a laidback acoustic sound. Cordelia's what you may ask?
