Fresh from their 5-stop double-headline national tour with ōtepoti surf-rockers L. Hotel, jam henderson are bursting at the seams to play their first headline gig in Christchurch since February. Off the back of a string of successes this year they are coming to darkroom with One Eyed Jacks (tāmaki makaurau), who are making their South Island debut. jam henderson bring thoughful, reflective songwriting to chunky indie guitar tracks to build the unique brand of indie rock they call Autumn Surf.
One Eyed Jacks are an Indie Western Surf Rock Band with influences from far and near such as, Hers, The Grogans and Allah Lahs. Liam - Guitar (The Raddlers), Tom - Drums (Lunar Intruder), Sam - Vocals (Four Down) combined with fresh faces Adam - Guitar and Deni (Bass), One Eyed Jacks have hit the ground running in their short time since forming in late March. Ones to look out for as they begin a string of live shows across the country.
Holly Kimber will be opening up the evening with a set of soulful tunes accompanied by her band. A staple of the diverse ōtautahi scene, Holly's stunning voice and chilling songwriting make her impossible to miss.
