BABY ZIONOV
Baby Zionov is a DJ and musician who makes bubblegum laser-sound boogie shoes dance music. Beginning with no formal training and nothing but a free sound editing program, she developed a production style in which she transforms a head-spinning hyperactive collage of club classics into a fluid, nostalgic kind of dance music. Taking influence from 90s happy hardcore, 70s space disco, and the vintage 16-bit video game soundtracks of Sonic, she combines the three components of Dance Dance Revolution: dancing, making dance music, and revolutionary Marxism.

Intersekt (she/they) is an artist, sound designer and composer from Aotearoa. Her work is primarily music which synthesizes pop, experimental electronica, plunderphonics and musique concrète. Engaging with thinkers like Svetlana Boym and Jose Munoz, her primary focus is using nostalgia as both a critique and celebration of the past, that we might move towards a queer and brown horizon.
