Chicago's Thompson Springs stops in Wellington at Vogelmorn March 17 promoting their new single, Outta Range. 7:30 pm /// $15-25

PBS called the band “a mix of indie folk with a southern/western feel,” and Detroit Public Radio (WDET) noted that they pull influences from classic songwriters, like Tom Petty, to more recent indie artists, like Kurt Vile. Thompson Springs started working with Wilco’s Pat Sansone for their debut album, Undertones, which they released on the band's own label, Dropped Beauty Recordings in 2021.

Rachel Andie is a Japanese American multi-instrumentalist from Philadelphia, US. She has been involved in the Aotearoa music scene for the past few years as a multi-instrumentalist, playing in bands such as The Soaked Oats, The Spectre Collective, Serebii, Wiri Donna, Michael Llewellyn, Tahini Bikini, and more.
