Hi/times w/ Christopher Tubbs
info_outline This tour has been.
Hi/times is back at it on Friday 19 August, with your Resident DJs Dick Johnson & Murry Sweetpants holding the fort in fine form, alongside a very special guest, visiting for one night only from Capital City, an absolute Disco Don, A Balearic Beast, none other than Christopher Tubbs!
His regular nights at Wellingtons 'Club 121' are an unmissable experience, and we're delighted to host him on L16 of the SO/Auckland Hotel.
Christopher Tubbs is a Wellingtonian DJ, music producer, and broadcaster. During his 20 years in London his productions as Tubbs and Atlantic Conveyor have resulted in strong support from luminaries such as Zane Lowe, Gilles Peterson and Mark Ronson.
As a DJ Christopher Tubbs is the only kiwi to have played most of the world’s most legendary clubs: Fabric and Ministry Of Sound in London, Privilege and Space in Ibiza, Rex Club in Paris and Singapore’s Zouk… they’ve all experienced his unique cosmic disco vibrations over a life in music.
2022 has been a big year for Christopher. His collaboration with Eden Burns ‘The Siren’s Song’ on Public Possession is on heavy rotation with some of the world’s biggest DJs and his reputation as a pillar of the Australasian dance music scene is irrevocably set in stone.
This one is shaping up to be one of the finest nights we've ever hosted, so get your crew together, get your tix secured early and get ready to dance!
