“Since the release of his 2022 Taite Music Prize nominated album “Buda” in October last year, Luke Buda (Te Whanganui-a-Tara) has been desperate to play some sweet local music for the local crew down at the local bar! After several Covid related setbacks it is finally happening.

Luke Buda and Ōtautahi Violinist Anita Clark (Motte) head out on an intimate 4 date tour to play the songs from “Buda”, as well as some old The Phoenix Foundation favourites and… if the mood is right: a Roxette cover.

Come and bear witness to a man singing about his lack of fitness, and his inability to keep on top of day to day life admin, while swimming in a pool of reverb and gratuitous delay. Float away on a gentle cloud of spaced out violin and dreamy synths.
