Stream Diana Tribute's New EP 'Imbibing'
Local purveyors of tropical-industrial sounds, Freezing Works Music are releasing the first EP from five-piece Diana Tribute. The group brings together members from GPOGP, Street Chant, Sharpie Crows and Civil Union, who have employed the services of a smattering of guest vocalists to carve out five-track offering Imbibing. The release has been described as dark and propulsive, "as bass-heavy and paranoid as trip-hop, as free and unpredictable as Krautrock; Industrial ambience with a light touch", which seems like an accurate portrayal. Imbibing is available digitally through iTunes and Bandcamp, and cassettes will be available to order through the Freezing Works website, or pick them up in person at a show. In the meantime, check it out below...
Diana Tribute are holding an Imbibing Release Party this Sunday 22nd March at The Wine Cellar in Auckland, with support from Girls Pissing On Girls Pissing, I.E Crazy, Seth Frightening and Shab Orkestra. Head over here for more information.
