Video: @Peace - Matter

A new video looking at the absurdity and mundaneness of modern day death rituals has been unveiled by local hip hop outfit @peace for 'Matter', taken from their album @peace and the Plutonian Noise Symphony. The clip, according to vocalist Tom Scott, was inspired by the tiny club sandwiches served at a relative's funeral and evolved from there. The concept was then executed by the team at Motion Sickness Studios and sees the group, along with bunch of their friends, caked in old-age makeup and tussling with heavy teapots and tomato sauce bottles while attending a friend's final vigil. And they somehow managed to rope in actress Keisha Castle-Hughes to play a cleaning lady. Watch below...

The crew also shared a Totems remix of their track 'Gravity' , which you can listen to right here...

@peace are midway through a New Zealand tour with Louie Knuxx, head over here for more details.
