Listen To Two New Tracks From Franz Ferdinand

Franz Ferdinand were one of the most critically acclaimed artists to emerge from the indie rock revival at the turn of this century. Their tailored suits, Constructivist design and intellectual lyrics formed a unique and pulsating whole and sent their first album - with singles like 'Take Me Out' and 'Michael'- straight to the top of the charts. While their follow-up albums had excellent moments, they never really achieved the dizzying crossover success of their debut, and the last we heard from them was back in 2009 with Tonight: Franz Ferdinand and I remember more about the cover version - featuring artists like Peaches, LCD Soundsystem and Stephen Merritt - than I do about the album-proper.

Well, they are back! The band are due to release the time-sensitively-titled Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action in August on Domino and today they've dropped two singles.
