There's A Tuesday Share New Album 'Blush'

Having already achieved significant acclaim with 2022's Boy At Night EP, There's A Tuesday elevate their songcraft further on the Ōtautahi quartet's second album Blush, reuniting with the magical touch of producer Will McGillivray (aka Goodwill). Fronted by Nat Hutton and Minnie Robberds on guitar and vocals, with drummer Angus Murray and bassist Joel Becker, There's A Tuesday's new record balances tender-hearted guitar balladry with a consistent knack for emotionally resonant, indie-pop effervescence.

The gently swaying 'Long Distance Lovers' sports atmospheric playful textures and rustic guitar, the coastal dream-pop of 'Brighton' feels sparkling and reflective, 'The City' and 'Blowfly' bop along whilst spinning contemporary Canterbury tales, interlude / intro track 'in know it's not forever' sounds positively Badalamenti-esque, and standout lead singles 'Margo' and 'Water Baby' feel just as majestic in this context. Points deducted for not actually releasing on a Tuesday, but we'll let that slide — hit play below and go catch them toasting Blush with friends nationwide this month...
