Afro-Pasifika DJ / producer superstar Lady Shaka presented a two night celebration of "the essence of Whaea — a tribute to the inner aunty and uncle in all of us" at Tāmaki Makaurau's Double Whammy over the weekend, joined by special guests galore on Friday and Saturday. Photographer George Forbes headed along on the Saturday and took some dynamite snaps of Lady Shaka with DJ Keke, Rubi Du, DJ Orikol and DJ Banty plus more moving the crowd.
