Zapping around the motu last weekend playing festival sets at WOMAD and Homegrown, The Beths returned to Saint Kevins Arcade's newly transmutated underground venue hub on Monday evening, treating a sold out hometown crowd to their first Double Whammy! event, with special guest Mim Jensen. Local legend of gig photography Petra Jane (also spotted in the same venue at Guitar Wolf's show on Sunday) cruised along and shot headliners Elizabeth Stokes, Jonathan Pearce, Tristan Deck and Ben Sinclair in action — soon jetting abroad to Australia for shows with Carpark Records labelmates Phoebe Rings.
