Japanese Breakfast's legions of local fans are likely to be whooping in delight at today's big news — the Philadelphia art-rock / dream-pop project led by Michelle Zauner will be headlining Auckland Town Hall on 7th June, their much pined for debut Aotearoa performance! No strangers to SRN airwaves and our UTR news section for about as long as I've been typing these stories, Japanese Breakfast will be here touring their fourth studio album For Melancholy Brunettes (& sad women), recorded with Grammy Award-winning producer Blake Mills and out in full on 21st March via Dead Oceans.

In support of their fourth studio album, they're bringing The Melancholy Tour to Auckland Town Hall for one night only on Saturday 7 June.
