An absolute hero of Aotearoa's indie-rock community, Buzz Moller has announced Voom's new album Something Good Is Happening will be out in full on 16th May via Flying Nun Records, their first studio long player in a monumental nineteen years! Fans will be rejoicing at today's new single 'Trouble', a brisk power-pop banger emblematic of Moller's melodic mastery — paired with a suspenseful cinematic mini-epic directed by Matthew Campbell Downes and made with support from NZ On Air.

The four-piece of Moller, Murray Fisher, Nick Buckton and Josh Sorenson, get up to speed with Voom's storied history (traced all the way back to 1982) via Gareth Shute's AudioCulture profile HERE, and preorder Something Good Is Happening on vinyl LP / compact disc HERE (better move fast as they're already running low). Soak up 'Trouble' and investigate the full fourteen song tracklist below, including earlier singles 'Magic' featuring Fazerdaze, 'We Don't Care', and 'Everyone'...

"'Trouble' is about wanting something so badly, you’re willing to risk it all. It’s not just a boy-girl story, it’s about anything you crave enough to break the rules for. Sometimes, you take the leap, apologise later, and realize it was worth it. Sometimes you don’t and wish you had. Other times you just fuck up and get in trouble". - Buzz Moller

'Trouble' is out today on major streaming platforms via Flying Nun Records.
