We are thrilled to present for you an exclusive new playlist by Aotearoa electronic jazz great Mark de Clive-Lowe, playing headline events with friends galore this week at Te Whanganui-a-Tara's Moon 1 and Raglan's The Yard Cafe & Venue. Also performing at Tāmaki's free all-ages Somethin' Else festival this Saturday in Aotea Square for Auckland Live Summer in the Square, Mark de Clive-Lowe hand-picked a selection of personal highlights from his kaleidoscopic back catalogue (encompassing over 200 studio releases in total!). "I'm stoked to be heading to the homeland to play a week of peak summertime shows. It’s always super special to play Aotearoa, and this run is going to be a fun one! This playlist shares some of my favourite moments from different album projects I’ve done including jams from Six Degrees, Tide’s Arising, CHURCH, remixes for Shirley Horn, Jill Scott and more. There’s so much music I love, from jazz to house and everything in between and for these shows I’ll be doing live remix sets, creating from scratch, in real time, beat by beat, record by record — bridging the gap between all the sounds and vibes I love.
