The multiverse of special guests for WOMAD Aotearoa 2025 continues to expand in exciting directions, as the beloved Ngāmotu / New Plymouth festival looms ever closer. Maioha APRA Award winner Jordyn with a Why has joined the stellar bill of performing talents from throughout Aotearoa and around the globe, while the newly revamped Tūī Stage (formerly The Dell) will serve up a diverse spectrum of dancefloor styles, featuring DJs Poppa Jax, Pixie Lane, Tim Richards, LittleWild, Ben Parkes B2B Stace, Slimo and Hoetz. There's even more activities, workshops, initiatives and stalls beyond the recently announced The World Of Words and STEAM Lab programmes for festival-goers to tuck into at this year's all-ages music and arts extravaganza — returning to Brooklands Park and the Bowl of Brooklands from 14th to 16th March...

"Te Paepae will celebrate Māori culture, while TOP Taste the World will offer interactive cooking demonstrations paired with live music, storytelling, and cultural anecdotes to nourish both body and soul. Artists will also share the artistry behind their traditional techniques in workshops held throughout the festival. For young festival goers, Kidzonewill provide a whirlwind of imagination and colour and the Global Village will offer an array of food, fashion, art, and unique treasures with over 100 exciting stalls".
