Start Today Fest 2025 First Lineup - HORSEPOWER (Naarm), Severed Beliefs, Cease & Desist + More
Founded in 2023 with the aim of reenergising Te Whanganui-a-Tara's all-ages live music culture, DIY gig facilitators Start Today Crew have announced their first ever Start Today Fest — "a celebration of hardcore music and culture" happening at Newtown Community Centre on 5th April. Inviting ten acts from across Australasia to let rip at the inclusive one day event, the just-revealed first lineup features Naarm hardcore / punk bruisers HORSEPOWER making their Aotearoa live debut, plus local amp-blasters Severed Beliefs (Te Whanganui-a-Tara), Cease & Desist (Kirikiriroa), Spiral (Te Whanganui-a-Tara) and Shuv-It (Te Tai-o-Aorere), with even more to be revealed in the coming weeks.
