Hoodoo Gurus Announce NZ Tour Supports - The Spirals, Best Bets, Silk Cut
Legends of Aussie rock Hoodoo Gurus are back in Aotearoa New Zealand this coming April, regaling fans with a triple date tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of their debut album Stoneage Romeos. Arising from early '80s punk roots in Sydney, Stoneage Romeos established Hoodoo Gurus as a defining group of their era both in Australasia and around the planet, reissued on LP and CD in a swish 40th anniversary edition last year. Playing that classic record in its entirety, plus a selection of favourites from across their oeuvre, Hoodoo Gurus have today announced local special guests for their NZ tour — joined by Silk Cut at Auckland's The Powerstation, power-poppers Best Bets at Christchurch's James Hay Theatre and Wellington's The Spirals, freshly reunited for their first show together in 30 years at the capital's Meow Nui.
