Newtown Festival 2025 Lineup & Programme Announced
A mega-stacked capstone to a sunny summer, the official lineup for Te Whanganui-a-Tara's free all-ages community extravaganza Newtown Festival has been announced for Sunday 2nd March 2025. Starring more than 130 local acts performing across 16 stages dotted throughout Newtown's bustling streets, the whopping bill is an inclusive celebration of musical diversity in Aotearoa — featuring (and by no means limited to) bass-booming dub-reggae grooves, body-moving club beats, resplendent alt-folk, infectious hyper-pop, booty-shaking hip-hop, fuzzy indie-rock, rowdy hardcore punk, scorching synth-punk, carnivalesque performance, and that's just the tip of the sonic iceberg. Head along, discover your new favourite band / DJ, enjoy the delish food / refreshing beverages on offer and sample a humongous 420 stalls.
