The D4 Announce 2025 Feb / March New Zealand Tour

Already confirmed as supports for Shihad at Auckland's Spark Arena, Aotearoa garage punk kings The D4 are rallying the troops for an eight date nationwide tour, tearing up our stages from early February to mid-March 2025. It's mind-boggling to consider The D4's rise to global infamy with the double-punch riff-mania of Out Of My Head (2005) and 6Twenty (2002) took place two decades ago. This milestone is being recognised with the forthcoming first ever vinyl LP pressing of Out Of My Head (it was the age of the compact disc back then), launching on 7th February via Warner Music / Rhythmethod, including bonus never-released material.

Always dynamite live and never fully inactive — we've been treated to live gigs when US-based guitarist Dion Lunadon (who has carved out a substantial solo career) has returned to his homeland — The D4 just wrapped up a five date tour of Japan last month, which included a performance at Guitar Wolf's Shimane Jett Festival. Don't dare miss the raw unbridled, rock 'n' roll power of Jimmy Christmas (Luger Boa), Lunadon, Jake Harding and Beaver Pooley bringing you such anthems as 'Rock'n'Roll Motherfucker', 'Sake Bomb', 'What I Want', 'Party', 'Come On!', 'Get Loose', 'Ladies Man' and hold on just a minute, "never before heard material" at the following dates. The itinerary includes Whangamata's Kickdown Festival and a double-headline gig in the capital with the mighty Head Like A Hole, get in there...

Louder, wilder, and more combustible than ever, NZ’s finest punk n’ rollers, The D4, will be hitting home shores this coming February / March. They will be celebrating the FIRST EVER VINYL pressing of sophomore album Out Of My Head dropping February 7, 2025 via Warner Music.

The D4 are running hot from a riotous, untamed tour across their spiritual stomping ground of Japan, and are now primed to explode back onto the local stage. With appearances at Kickdown Festival, opening for Shihad on their final tour, a mighty double header with notorious stench rockers Head Like A Hole, and headline shows at favourite haunts.

Rock'n'roll fans will be treated to their notorious and incendiary live performances, replete with a reputation for amplifiers catching on fire and sweat dripping from the ceiling.
