Flatliners New Zealand Tour Supports + Auckland Venue Upgrade Announced
Canadian old-school punk and ska / reggae titans The Flatliners are touring Aotearoa New Zealand for the first time ever this summer and demand has been red hot, so they've levelled up their Auckland venue to the larger capacity Double Whammy! on Karangahape Road. Toasting their 20th anniversary and recent release of their 2022 album New Ruin (Fat Wreck Chords), the original hi-octane combo of Chris Cresswell, Scott Brigham, Jon Darbey, and Paul Ramirez have also revealed local supports for all three cities — also barreling into Wellington's Valhalla and Hamilton's Last Place Tavern in late February. Grip the updated tour details below and get tickets while they're still available, here's the official lowdown from Sticky Fingaz Tour Management...
"Due to the heavy show of support through presales and all other avenues for this tour so far we have made the decision to upgrade the Auckland venue — never fear — it's literally across the hallway at Tamaki Makaurau's brand spanking Double Whammy, also hosting Chris's other project HWM (Chicks That Scream) a fortnight prior to The Flatliners' first ever trip to our shores.
So with supports sussed and venues awesome, tickets are pumping and this tour promises to be monumental!"
