Outlier Festival 2024 Timetable Announced
Bringing together electronic music / sound visionaries from throughout Aotearoa and beyond, Tāmaki Makaurau's Outlier Festival 2024 is treating punters to an aural buffet of performances, talks, workshops and installations from Friday to Sunday this weekend at Hollywood Avondale and Old Folks Association. Curated by Grace Verweij and Tash van Schaardenburg, we can obsessively map our own sonic itineraries with the very handy official programme for each day below, all brought to you by Audio Foundation.
Nab a festival pass or daily ticket and do not miss this multi-dimensional bill, spanning "glitch, deconstructed club, emo electronics, ambient, gorge, modular synths, hyperpop, maximalist breaks, broken cassettes, mutant classical, ambisonics, technonaturalism, taonga pūoro, drone, IDM, noise + surprises unearthed from the outliers, explorers and counterforce artists of electronic music" — also featuring projected visuals by East and Cyberboy666 (Naarm, Aus)...
