Ōhinehou / Lyttelton's Port Noise deliver the goods with the exceptionally curated first lineup for 2025's multi-venue arts and music festival, threading throughout a variety of venues and spaces on 1st March. Announced in sync with general allocation tickets on sale from now onwards, next year's bill showcases a diverse selection of world-class artists from throughout Aotearoa and beyond.
Visitors from abroad include LA-based Puerto Rican dubwise one-man sound machine Pachyman (also touring nationwide this summer, read our recent interview HERE), Nebraskan poet / Americana songwriter Simon Joyner & The Eucalypts, and Naarm-based Waihōpai / Invercargill dancefloor innovator Vanessa Worm. Press release:
After two consecutive sell out years, Ōhinehou Lyttelton’s own Port Noise Festival makes its climactic return on March 1st, 2025.
At Port Noise, we transform the car park and courtyard that connects three neighbouring iconic venues in Ōhinehou Lyttelton, offering festival-goers the best in music, local cuisine, craft brews, merchandise and record pop ups, immersive installations, and artist-led micro experiences.
As we continue our work to showcase the breadth of the alternative music and arts within Aotearoa, 2025 looks to be an even more wildly expansive festival. After another sell-out year, we are working to meet the high demand for the festival. Through increasing our site's footprint, we’re able to share an even greater trough of local and international talent to tantalise the senses. Of course while making sure to retain the artist and community led feel that makes our festival so unique.
In a space curated to embrace the industrial beauty of our hometown, while expanding the limits of what one may expect from an arts and music festival –– we invite both audience and artist alike to come bask in the wild glory of this shared true telling of the self.
It’s good to be back!
