King Brothers (JPN) Returning To New Zealand This Summer

King Brothers (JPN) Returning To New Zealand This Summer

Chris Cudby / Thursday 31st October, 2024 2:32PM

Japan's King Brothers are back in Aotearoa this summer for three guaranteed to be rawkus shows, bringing with them Okinawa hardcore "folk punk" combo Alka Silka and reuniting with our very own Cindy. Legendarily explosive on-stage and off, the garage-punk veterans will be blowing amps at Pōneke's Valhalla, Tāmaki Makaurau's new Double Whammy and Palace Bar in Mount Maunganui. Formed all the way back in 1998, King Brothers recently unveiled their latest album HELL OH! OZ, which may or may not be their thirteenth studio long player (somebody please update their Discogs page). Head along and give King Brothers a wild welcome back at the following dates...

King Brothers (JPN) and Alka Silka (JPN) w/ Cindy

Thursday 13th February - Valhalla, Wellington
Friday 14th February - Double Whammy, Auckland
Saturday 15th February - Palace Tavern, Tauranga
